I travel from Saltdean and pay to park to have an appointment with Lenka, the experienced and knowledgeable owner of this salon. I book a deep cleansing extraction facial and try and go on a regular basis, although its sometimes tricky to get an appointment. She is fantastic, personable, not over friendly (perfect) - doesn't talk throughout the treatment, doesn't try and sell you products or other additional appointments (relaxing), very knowledgeable, capable and skill full, and my old skin glows afterwards. I like the feeling of a very deep clean and extractions which I cant access. I normally have a mild acid face treatment as well (mild as my skin in sensitive). So you dont receive a formula which cant be changed, Lenka's facials are designed to suit your skin and your requirements. (I must book again soon).

What an amazing experience! Laura was so wonderful and took the time to really get into all of the bad knots I'd had for years, that no Thai deep massage had ever gotten to. In 1hr I feel like I've been transformed and got incredible advice and tips from Laura for issues that I'd been struggling with for over a decade...and that was from a head, neck and body massage. Laura fully understood all the needs I had and I cant thank her enough. Such a kind, thoughtful and professional lady! I will definitely be coming back!
Massenka recently moved premises which means they are even closer to where I live right now which is a blessing. To have such a professional team at the end of our street means we can pop in and out on a regular basis for a truly blissful and professional experience. I've had deep tissue massage which gets into all the knots and leaves me feeling ready to take on another working week/month. Relaxing facials that leave my weary skin looking freshly plumped and rejuvenated. Great for a little pick me up. Premises are clean and well organised. And competitively priced. Blissfull! The relief I feel after being massaged is incredible. The Fibromyalgia I have responds wonderfully to the varied techniques Lenka uses, its the only time I get pain relief from most of the Fibromyalgia pains. The atmosphere/ mood is lovely with candlelight and soft soothing music…I regain a peaceful equilibrium every time I have treatment.

I had shellac removal and re-application. I have been having this for a year elsewhere and no-one has pointed out to me what it has been doing to my nails. Lenka treated my nails and applied Sellac again and they look great. Lenka has taken real care of my nails and I will definitely be returning. The salon is very peaceful and Lenka is lovely. I highly recommend Massenka if you want to be truly looked after!

I heard about Lenka from a recommendation in Caroline Hiron’s blog. It was wonderful to finally find out about a decent facialist so close to home! What is unique about Lenka is that she actually does some decent extractions!! This is considered by many old fashioned and unnecessary and/or harsh. I strongly disagree and always felt like a copout by many otherwise decent facialists. So I was pleased to finally hear experts like Caroline Hirons, the British Beauty Blogger and Sali Hughes express their frustration at all the stupidly expensive facials that are in effect just a very thorough cleansing. The facial with Lenka was very relaxing but also fulfilled the purpose of properly sorting out my skin without needing to commit to continuous treatments and/or expensive products. I finally feel that I have found someone who gets what beauty treatments should be; pleasant and relaxing but also effective without costing the earth.

Best massage I’ve ever had! And I have had a lot over the years.
I found Massenka by chance as I was passing a couple of months ago, it looked stylish on the outside and I popped in to ask about treatments. Lenka was immediately likeable, friendly and knowledgeable and I ended up booking a Faith Lift facial with a back and shoulder massage for the following week.
The salon was calm, clean, attractive and welcoming. Lenka is very knowledgeable and straightforward about her treatments, she is happy to discuss in detail what they can and can’t do and the best order in which to have them. She did the facial first which was lovely, very chilled and beautifully scented which left my wintered and sensitive skin soft and smooth and much easier to take care of.
The massage was really excellent, good firmness and strength, Lenka is extremely skilled at her art, smoothed out my knots and tensions and it was a deeply relaxing experience, I even felt taller afterwards!
I’ve been back regularly since for an eyelash and brow tint, a beautifully neat manicure, a thorough pedicure and another of those wonderful back and shoulder massages and I’m about to book again.

I have been a client of Massenka since 2015 and have had numerous treatments, including massages, facials, manicures, pedicures and eye brow wax and tints. Every single experience has been a good one! Lenka is the ultimate professional, but friendly and approachable too. She is extremely knowledgeable and has many years’ experience. She is my go-to person for anything beauty or massage-related! More recently, I have had a Thai taster treatment with her new therapist Erin. Having come into the salon with muscle pain in my front and back hip, and thouroughly miserable after suffering for 2-3 weeks with, I was not feeling hopeful at how quickly it could be fixed. However, I was amazed when after only one 30 minute session, the pain had completely gone and nearly a fortnight later, has not returned. Erin knew straight away which muscles were effected and how to work to release them. While I have tried a range of different massages, I will definitely be back for another Thai massage – it worked wonders!!

Pleasantly surprised. Tried a few different places around Brighton but after visiting Massenka (which is a short for Massage and Lenka, the owner) can only recommend this place. Treated myself with a pregnancy massage and this was the best I have experienced so far. It is a great place to relax, with lovely music, pleasant ambience, the heated bed and small other details that you would not expect. Lenka explained and provided personalised suggestions to my needs (she knows what she is doing!). Free car park and very reasonable prices. The only downside is that I did not discover this place earlier.

I had a full body massage and also my eyebrows waxed. I was so impressed with the overall quality, lovely ambiance, cleanliness and friendly team. The massage was wonderful and also very effective and I felt very invigorated and rested afterwards. I am also very fussy about my eyebrows and they were done to the most perfection by Lenka.
