Dermaplaning provides an effective and safe exfoliation treatment that promotes deeper product penetration, boosting the effects of skin care products while making the skin look and feel smoother and also reducing the appearance of fine lines and acne scars.
It involves gently scraping the surface of your skin with a surgical scalpel to remove dead skin and peach fuzz (facial hair can trap dirt and oils).
Dermaplaning works on almost all skin types and provides near-instant results with no downtime. It can also help tighten loose skin, reduce hyperpigmentation and ultimately help your face look younger, as the process results in a stimulating effect which causes your skin to produce more collagen which increases skin tightness and skin texture.
In the hands of a professional, dermaplaning is safe for most skin types, especially those with sun damage, fine lines, dry patches, and dull skin.
