Massage Therapy & Beauty Treatments

Acupuncture is an anctient healthcare system that focuses on the prevention and treatment of illness in the whole body as well as on its surface.

Born from the principles of Classical Chinese Medicine and Daoist traditions, Acupuncture treatment influences the energy (qi) in your entire organism. It improves work of your nervous system and regulates blood circulation which results in the release of obstructed energy that causes illness on the physical as well as emotional level.

Through the insertion of fine needles into acupoints found along the specific sites on the body the treatment brings back the natural physiological balance and re-establishes functions of your organs.

 Acupuncture with Massage and/or Cupping

Rebalance your energy and release tension. Includes a full Chinese medical diagnosis followed by acupuncture and back, neck and shoulder massage.

Cupping can be combined with acupuncture needles in certain treatments where the muscular tension is severe. Cupping is used first to decrease the tension and acupuncture needles are then used afterwards to further reinforce the healing process.

What to expect during the treatment?

On the first visit, I will ask you for your full medical history and the current state of health as well as lifestyle habits. A precise pulse, body and tongue diagnosis will help me find out your constitutional patterns (strenghts and weaknesses) and lead me to the choice of your individually tailored treatment protocol. Whether you are affraid of needles or not, I will do my best to make the experience comfortable and painless. Many patients are positively surprised that Acupuncture actually does not hurt at all!

All the needles used in the treatment are disposable and made of stainless steel. I also use only NHS approved brands.

Just as therapies you receive from your regular doctor, the number of treatments depends on your conditions, health, age, responsiveness to the treatment and many other factors. Most people require a course of 3 to 6 treatments within weeks following the initial visit.
